Bentley’s latest ad which was shot with an iPhone 5s, and edited on an iPad Air

So, everyone's hyped about their new DSLR or access to a REDDISH camera...have a look at what you are able to do with an iPhone 5s and an iPad (never mind that this advertising is for among the most expensive automobiles on the planet...focus on the production qualities and the story it tells.).

IOS devices have made tools like video editing accessible for the public, but they are increasingly being used by the pros too. No wonder we opined the iPhone has become a good enough camera to become the only one you will need.

The usage of the iMovie iOS applications meant that filmmakers could carry the majority of the editing work out in the back seat of their car.

Whether you watch this because it's a Bentley ad or because it was shot using an iPhone 5S and edited on a MacBook Air, you really should watch it. Here's the advertising if you are interested to see how they did. There is a fine behind-the-scenes bit at the end, also:

Intelligent Details, a short documentary film commissioned by Bentley Motors, introduces Luc Donckerwolke, Director of Design, and SangYup Lee, Head of Exterior Design. Filmed in the Bentley Mulsanne in New York, Intelligent Details focuses on what inspires Luc and SangYup in their roles as design leaders for Bentley Motors. The film highlights the fusion of luxury, performance and technology within the Bentley Mulsanne and reveals the manner in which Intelligent Details was filmed, assembled and edited using the in-car connectivity and entertainment platform.

This isn't the first time iOS apparatus have been used as professional cameras. Back in September, Burberry used an iPhone 5s to shoot among its fashion shows, while the Academy Award-winning documentary Searching for Sugar Man was partially shot using that same version iPhone.
